Turning off the currency converter

How does one turn off the currency converter? I have toggled it off on the Payment Settings page, but it's still there.

Conversely, can one drop the version 4.5.5 admin/libsecure.php file into installed version 4.5.1? I need to either fix currency rates or hide them.

Unfortunately you cannot drop a newer libsecure.php into an older version. That will cause issues wit the script. Whether or not you can turn off the currency converter depends on the age of your theme files. In later version there is an option. Otherwise just open the main_index.hrml and remove the call manually.

I have 4.5.1 with Bigshop Responsive. Manage Settings > Payment Settings has a "Currency Conversion" toggle, but setting it to OFF doesn't change anything.

Understood but are your theme files current. The html files themselves would need to be the latest.

Ah, OK. My site has several customizations, so that might be it. I'll ask my developer to look at it the next time I need to hire him for something. Meanwhile I'll see if I can figure out your suggestion for editing main_index.
